Curatorial Focus
The title Stranieri Ovunque is inspired by a neon sculpture series by Claire Fontaine, emphasizing the ubiquity of foreigners in every culture and the inherent strangeness in identity. The exhibition explores the complexities of language, identity, and cultural dislocation, with a special focus on marginalized communities such as immigrants, expatriates, and refugees, particularly those traversing the Global South and Global North.

Noteworthy Themes and Motifs
Two recurring themes in this edition are textiles and familial connections among artists. Many artists, including Indigenous practitioners, are integrating textiles into their works, exploring traditional craftsmanship and how these practices can be perceived as "other" in the contemporary art landscape. The significance of familial ties, especially in Indigenous cultures, underscores the transmission of knowledge and cultural practices through generations
